The Pennsylvania Highway Information Association (PHIA) will host its first policy briefing breakfast of the year on April 19, 2017, featuring PA House Majority Appropriations Committee Chairman Stan Saylor.  This event was originally scheduled for March 14th but was canceled due to the weather.

Representative Saylor represents the 94th Legislative District in York County and was first elected to the PA House of Representatives in 1992.

Now in his 13th term, Stan has been named Chairman of the powerful House Appropriations Committee for the 2016-17 session.  The Appropriations Committee is in charge of crafting the annual state budget and evaluating the fiscal impact of each piece of legislation that is passed by the House. Stan was previously elected by his colleagues to serve on the Republican Leadership Team as Policy Committee chairman from 2008–2010, as Majority Whip in 2010–14, and most recently served as the Chair of the Education Committee in 2015-16.

You don't want to miss this excellent opportunity to network and meet our distinguished guest.  We hope to see you there.
