A Contemplative Life of Meditation with Alan Arkin and Friends 

Join Academy Award winning actor, Alan Arkin at Insight Community of the Desert  for an intimate afternoon to discuss his 50+ years of meditation practice and dedication to a spiritual way of life.  Tickets for this tax-deductable fundraising event will provide a unique opportunity to hear about Mr. Arkin's contemplative life of meditation.  We ask and encourage everyone attending to offer donations at the highest level that they are able.  All donations will be used to support Insight Community of the Desert. 

Alan Arkin

Mr. Arkin is an Academy Award-winning actor who is also an acclaimed director, producer, author, singer and composer. Mr. Arkin affirms that his spiritual life is the center of his life.  He has arranged his life to live near spiritual communities and he has lived in spiritual communites.  Mr. Arkin is very clear when he says, "It is all abput the inner life anyway."  He has visited Insight Community of the Desert (ICD) in the past and would like to extend his support to our Sangha by appearing for this ICD Fund Raiser with all donations gratefully given to our Sangha.  There will be a limited number of seats available for this event.  Please register as soon as possible to reserve your spot.   In the spirit of generosity we ask everyone to contribute at their highest level for this event.
