Low Light Tactical Carbine --  Level 1

Course Overview

Taught by PNTC Instructors, MIL, SWAT and/or Law Enforcement officers, the PNTC Low Light Tactical Carbine Level 1 Class is an ENTRY LEVEL, one-day world-class school that focuses on marksmanship, safe modern operation of the AR, shooting in close quarters and teaches proper tactical maneuvers for defensive purposes IN LOW LIGHT CONDITIONS! Students shoot approximately 150 rounds over the duration of the school and experience some of the world’s best training on incredible target systems and ranges. 

We'll begin in the classroom until dusk, when we'll head to the range to take advantange of the decreasing light conditions. We'll work with flashlights and/or tactical lights and progress into the necessary drills needed to cope with low/no light defesive situations!  

THIS CLASS IS NOT A BEGINNER COURSE!  Students must be able to SAFELY handle their carbine.

PREREQUISITES:

Students MUST have completed Basic Level AR or Carbine Course from reputable trainers or have other relevant experience. This course is ideal for recreational, competitive, LE, current or former military. If you are safe and responsible with a carbine and want to learn about low/no light defensive shooting --  this course is for you. 

Peacemaker National reserves the right to refuse enrollment to anyone that is unable to demonstrate the level of safe firearm handling skills required for this course!  Instructors have the full discretion to remove any student from this course for safety reasons or if the student fails to meet the prerequisites for this course, anytime during the course, without issuing a refund.

Equipment                                                                                                                           

A CASED AR-Style Firearm, chambered in 223/556 OR UP TO .308

Pistol Caliber Carbines are also permitted

A HANDHELD TACTICAL STYLE FLASHLIGHT OR IF YOU HAVE A TACTICAL AR FLASHLIGHT THAT IS MOUNTED AND WORKING!

We will also use tables and/or dump buckets in this course, for saftey purposes

3 or more properly working magazines

150 rounds of high quality target ammunition

Pen and Paper for notes, if desired

Hearing Protection

Baseball cap

Protective eye wear

Range bag

Serviceable sling- suitable for a variety of shooting positions (tactical type preferred)

Suitable range wear, depending on the season 

NOTE: IF YOU ARE IN ANY WAY UNSURE THAT YOUR FIREARM, OPTIC OR AMMO ARE SUITABLE OR PREPARED FOR THIS COURSE YOU ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO RENT A PNTC RIFLE SYSTEM (RIFLE, AMMO & OPTIC)! YOU WILL GET A GREAT DEAL OUT OF THE CLASS ON ONE OF OUR RIFLE SYSTEMS. YOU CAN SELECT THIS OPTION BELOW WHEN PAYMENT IS COLLECTED.

PREREQUISITES                                                                                                             

This school is basic and suitable for all SAFE and responsible shooters who are looking to take the next step in their performance. Also, the course is idea for those shooters with a military, law enforcement, tactical shooting background OR competitive shooting background. You should be in adequate physical condition and be able to stand, bend and move for several hours outdoors. You should also be able to fire from the prone position. 

By registering for this course, student accepts all of the following:

  • Student agrees that all information taught will be used for lawful defensive or lawful recreational purposes, only
  • Student accepts that PNTC reserves the right to remove students without refund for unsafe, rude or unusual behavior, or in the event that students are unable to reasonably carry-out training and/or live fire
  • Student confirms that they are not a convicted felon and are lawfully permitted to use and own legal firearms in the United States
  • Student must also accept that this course will not cover basic rifle marksmanship skills

Safety 

Please ensure that your firearm is UNLOADED and cased prior to arriving at PNTC. Please leave your training firearm cased and in your vehicle upon arrival. We will tell you when it’s time to get your firearm.

Please do not bring a “concealed carry” firearm into the training room.  No ammunition or loaded firearms of any kind are permitted in the training room.

PNTC Staff/Instructors reserve the right to the determination of the successful or unsuccessful completion of the course of the individual student based on, but not limited to, safety, attitude and/or overall skill development. PNTC also reserves the right to remove any student for any safety purposes, or highly unusual or disruptive behavior, with or without refund, based on PNTC's sole determination.
