Training Instructor

Training Instructors at PNTC are responsible for leading and/or assisting with a wide variety firearms related training. Training Instructors are also responsible for assisting with or delivering PNTC course content in the classroom and on the range, instructing students in various forms of live and dry fire. Further, Training Instructors will support competitive shooting events, sales operations and sponsor support efforts or other duties that may be required from time to time.  Training Instructors are also required to assist with range set up, range tear down, equipment and gear maintenance, administration, customer service and sales efforts which may take place in the PNTC headquarters building or at various locations on the complex. 

Position requires working some weekdays and weekends, is hourly and will require approximately 20-30 hours per week. 

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

-       Must be at least 21 years old

-       Must be legally authorized to own and possess firearms

-       Have no criminal record

-       Experienced, familiar and comfortable with firearms and the firearms industry 

-       Experienced in delivering firearms training 

-       Have excellent customer service abilities 

-       NRA or other reputable firearms training experience desired

-       Must be able to stand, walk, bend and run

-       Must be able to endure long periods of time standing and working outdoors

-       Must be able to lift 60lbs 

-       Competitive shooting background a plus

-       Experience with Handguns, Carbine Rifles, Long Range Rifles and Shotguns desired

-       First aid, first responder and/or EMT/medic/corpsman background a plus 

-       Retail sales or sales and customer service capability or experience a plus

-       Secondary education and/or strong academic record a plus 

-       Excellent Military and/or law enforcement experience a plus

-       Experienced honorably discharged veterans are encouraged to apply

-       Three references and a background check may be required

-       Must work well with others, be professional, have integrity and good judgement  

-  Drug and/or substance abuse is not tolerated at PNTC. You may be required to take periodic drug tests.

Retail Associate

Retail associates are responsible for customer sales, and customer service in the PNTC headquarters building. Duties include, but are not limited to, range related sales activities, firearms and related product sales, training sales, customer service, and company administration tasks/maintenance. Further, retail associates will support competitive shooting events, sales operations, administration tasks, and sponsor support efforts or other duties that may be required from time to time.

Retail associates report to the store manager. Position requires working weekdays and weekends, is hourly and will require approximately 20-30 hours per week. 

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

-     Must be at least 21 years old

-     Must be reliable, punctual and have a great work ethic

-     Have no criminal record

-       Must be legally authorized to own and possess firearms

-       Experienced, familiar and comfortable with firearms and the firearms industry 

-  Experience with ATF records and processes a plus

-       Strong sales and excellent customer service abilities 

-       Retail, customer service and/or sales experience

-       Must be able to lift 60lbs 

-       Competitive shooting background a plus

-       Must be able to endure long periods of time standing and working 

-       Secondary education and/or strong academic record a plus 

-       Experience with firearms competitions a plus 

-       Secondary education or strong academic background a plus

-       Experienced honorably discharged veterans are encouraged to apply

Staff Range Safety Officer

Staff Range Safety Officer will be responsible for operating and ensuring quality and range saftey. Duties include, but are not limited to, providing range overall range safety, customer service, assisting with range maintenance, match set up and tear down, and or assisting with competitions. Further, Staff Range Saftey Officers will support competitive shooting events, sales operations, administration tasks, and sponsor support efforts or other duties that may be required from time to time.

Position requires working some weekdays and most weekends. Position is hourly and will require approximately 20 – 30 hours per week. 

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

-       Must be legally authorized to own and possess firearms

-       Familiar with and comfortable with firearms and the firearms industry 

-       Have no criminal record

-       Experience operating, supervising, running ranges preferred 

-       NRA Range Safety Officer or NRA Chief Range Safety Officer certification preferred

-       Mechanical repair capabilities preferred

-       Have excellent customer service abilities

-       NRA or other reputable firearms training experience desired

-       Secondary education and or strong academic record a plus 

-       First aid, first responder and/or EMT/medic/corpsman background a plus 

-       Retail sales or sales and customer service capability or experience a plus

-       Ability to work outside and stand for long periods required

-       Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs

-       Experience with firearms competitions and training a plus 

-       Experienced honorably discharged veterans encouraged to apply

-       Must work well with others, be professional, have integrity and good judgement
