Course Overview

The NRA's Competitive Shooting Division is proud to present an incredible, affordable, one-day school designed for the new to intermediate long range shooter.

We realize that it's difficult to understand how to get started in long range shooting. We also understand that even for shooters with some long range experience, becoming proficient at longer ranges can seem like a difficult goal to achieve.

In this very special school, we'll help you understand how to get you and your rifle on track for success. We'll start in the classroom and and then move to long distance ranges for live fire. You'll learn:

- Safety
- Long range rifle, optics, ammunition and gear choices/selection
- Basic long range rifle set up
- Data collection and trajectory validation
- Drop compensation
- Wind compensation
- Long range rifle marksmanship fundamentals & techniques
- Long range competiton techniques best practices
- Long range self-training methodology

We'll help you get started in your long range shooting journey and get you hitting targets from 300 out to 1000 yards!
