Overview: PNTC IDPA Classifier IDPA Overview

This month is the IDPA Classifier! In addition to the classifier we're throwing in two cool additional defensive minded stages so you get a chance to shoot more than just the classifier course of fire.

Additional Training That May be Helpful To You:

1) PNTC - Intermediate Defensive Handgun: Sunday March 24th 11AM-5PM. A true defensive survival handgun course, radically different than most courses.

Like all defensive classes at Peacemaker this is no “normal day” on the range.  You should fully expect this course to challenge your views forever on personal defense and greatly enhance your defensive shooting skills.  Whether you are a competition shooter, former military or recreational civilian shooter, this course will dramatically impact how you think, prepare and practice for self defense with a handgun.          More details in this registration link:  http://peacemakernational.com/events?l=viewEvent&eventID=39

2) PNTC - Intro to Action Pistol:  Sunday April 7th 10AM-4PM We recognize that new shooters interested in shooting IDPA, USPSA  or NRA action Pistol are confused by the differences between today’s competitive handgun match disciplines. During this six hour course of instruction students will understand the differences between NRA Action Pistol, USPSA and IDPA and learn the skills necessary to compete in matches and improve overall performance.

Students will also learn to draw from the holster safely, reload, shoot from various positions including the use of barricades, windows, etc. Students will also shoot an actual field course and speed course that will be similar to ones they might encounter in an actual match. Peacemaker’s actual Bianchi Cup ranges, and USPSA/IDPA courses of fire will be used during this training. More detials in this registration link: http://peacemakernational.com/events?l=viewEvent&eventID=47

Prerequisites:

In order to shoot in this match you need to be able to safely operate a handgun to include draw from a holster. If you are uncomfortable drawing from a holster or safely operating a handgun you should NOT register for this match.  If you are close to being able to doing this, but need additional help, we recommend you take Peacemaker’s Basic Handgun Fundamentals, Intro To Action Pistol, and or Intro to Defensive Handgun courses. Successful completion of these courses will help prepare you for this type of handgun competition.

Additional Match Information:

AM & PM Squads must all report first and complete registration at PNTC HQ 60-30 minutes prior to match start time! You will receive a match ID bracelet and a score sheet showing that you have completed registration properly. The safety briefing and squading starts at 15 prior to the match so please be on time.

Note: We will continue to allow shooters to register and pay at the door. However, in order for this to continue and not require payment up front, we are asking that you DO NOT sign up until you are certain you can make the match. Registering and taking up a spot hurts other shooters and the range, so please don’t sign up unless you fully intend on making the match.
