Dr. Mark M. Lowenthal

Dr. Mark M. Lowenthal, an internationally recognized expert on intelligence, is the President and CEO of the Intelligence & Security Academy, LLC. Dr. Lowenthal is an internationally recognized authority on the U.S. Intelligence Community and has served as the Assistant DCI for Analysis & Production; Vice Chairman for Evaluation, National Intelligence Council; Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Intelligence; and Staff Director, House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Dr. Lowenthal is the author of the standard college textbook on intelligence, Intelligence: From Secrets to Policy (5th ed, 2011). Dr. Lowenthal is an adjunct professor at the Johns Hopkins University. In 1988, Dr. Lowenthal was the Grand Champion on Jeopardy!, the television quiz show.
