An estimated 34.2 million adults in the US have provided unpaid care to an adult age 50 or older in the prior 12 months.* Many of those being cared for are chronically ill or disabled. Perhaps you are a member of the "sandwich generation", and provide care for both your children and one or both of your parents. If you serve as a caregiver it's likely that you have several concerns, such as:
This free Forrest City Medical Center Lunch-N-Learn program is designed to provide the necessary information to help you to deal with these concerns and more. The program is geared for anyone who is currently serving as the caregiver for a family member or friend, or who may be serving in that capacity in the future.
There is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is required and seating is limited. A light lunch will be served to registered attendees.
