2016 Conway Big Wheel Race

RACE...If you DARE! 

Advanced registration is closed, but you can regiser on-site at the corner of 4th Avenue and Laurel Street on Saturday, October 29 at 10:00 AM.    

Race the streets of Downtown Conway dodging obstacles and fellow Big Wheel wanna-bes.  Steal your kid's Big Wheel or build your own and join the crowd.

Participants must be 18 or older.  Each team consists of a rider and a pusher.  Helmets are required and elbow and knee pads are strongly encouraged.  All participants must sign a waiver at check-in. 

Three Categories...Classic, Pimp My Ride or Made From Scratch!

2016 Conway Big Wheel Race Rules

1.  All entries must be human powered and in the spirit of the competition.
2.  While the entry does not have to be a “Big Wheel”, it must be of a like nature. 
3. All teams must have two members, a rider and a pusher.  The rider must maintain contact with the Big Wheel at all times during the race. 
4. All team members and the Big Wheel must cross the finish line before the time will be recorded.
5. When registering the team will select a category, however it is the decision of the check-in judges as to the category in which the team will compete.  The decision of the judges is final. 
6. One member of the team must remain in contact with the Big Wheel at all times during the race.
7. Pushing or interfering with the progress of another team is not permitted.
8. The Classic category is for unmodified child-like riding toys.
9. The Pimp My Ride Category is for larger versions of a Big Wheel or similar rides and child-like toys and rides that have been modified.
10. The Made From Scratch category is for hand built, from the ground up, Big Wheel style rides.
11. Helmets are required and elbow and knee pads are strongly encouraged.
12. Participants must be 18 years of older.
13. Only advanced registrations are guaranteed t-shirts.
