Lewis was a 2014 James Beard Foundation semifinalist for Rising Star Chef of the Year, and a 2014 inaugural Chef of the Year by the St. Louis-Post Dispatch, which praised him for creating “… one of St. Louis’ most exciting dining experiences.” Rick honed his culinary skills in the kitchens of his mother and St. Louis restaurants Dulany’s, LoRusso’s Cucina, Quincy Street Bistro, Southern, and An American Place and Monarch, where he trained under his mentor, the acclaimed chef Josh Galliano. Rick is a proud alumnus of St. Louis area Lutheran schools.
