Artificial maturity in kids can stem from an over-exposure to information earlier than they're ready to handle, and an under-exposure to real-life experiences far later than they're ready. Join Dr. Tim Elmore as he discusses how to identify this problem, how adults can help kids make wise choices, and guide them to true maturity. The presentation will be based on his book, Artificial Maturity.
There is no cost to attend this event! Please bring your spouse or a guest to hear this important message.
Dr. Elmore is the founder and president of Growing Leaders. Through Growing Leaders, Dr. Elmore and his team teach middle school, high school, and college students the skills they need to become authentic leaders. He has shared his insight in more than 30 countries, and has written more than 25 books including Habitudes, Images that Form Leadership Habits and Attitudes, Generation iY: Our Last Chance to Save Their Future, and Artificial Maturity.
Child care will not be available during the presentation.
This event is made possible through a partnership between Immanuel Lutheran School, Washington, MO, and the Lutheran Elementary School Association.
