2019 UMAPP Board of Directors Election
Being elected to the Board of one of the largest regional promotional professionals associations in the country is an honor. You will help set the direction for a very important organization in the community of industry professionals.
Brush off your volunteer hat and tune up your leadership skills!
We have 3 director positions open:
- Tessa Trumble (Evans Manufacturing) is currently holding a supplier director position, but will forfeit the last year of her term to accept the Board's appointment to the Secretary's position for 2019! The person who applies for this position will finish Tessa's original term, which is through 12/31/2019.
- A supplier director's position is open for January 1, 2019 - December 31, 2020 (two-year term).
- A distributor director's position is open for January 1, 2019 - December 31, 2020 (two-year term).
What is involved in being a Board Director?
- A willingness to share your expertise and business sense, along with basic leadership skills.
- Enthusiasm to be a part of a great group of industry professionals.
- Ability to meet in the local Twin Cities area for board meetings (held approximately 10 times a year from 11am - 1pm). Lunch is served!
- Have at least 2 years of industry experience and currently work for a UMAPP member company.
- Be ready to meet new people, make new contacts, have fun, and volunteer for one of the strongest regional associations in the country.
- New board members are requested to attend the annual UMAPP Summit Board meeting on October 29. This day includes a short board orientation and a half day of Association business, education, and information.
