aJoin us for a practical discussion about what we should know about the nature of bullying and how as adults we can foster children’s skills and assets into positive, pro-social behaviors. Small, easy-to-use, manageable relationship-building techniques will be described to foster nurturing and supportive relationships with young people.

Objectives:

  • Examine the three key components of bullying from a developmental assets framework
  • Describe practical and relevant intervention techniques, based on developmental assets, for children who bully others
  • Describe relationship-building techniques to foster nurturing and supportive relationships with young people
  • Suggest ways to partner with parents of children involved in bullying
