Listening Skills and Building Rapport Workshop

When it comes to communication, there’s a significant difference between hearing and listening. Hearing is a biological function; listening is a mental process and learned skill. Listening plays an important part of a workday. In addition to gathering information, it is a means to connection, cooperation, and rapport.

This workshop will provide participants with skills and techniques that can increase their ability to listen more deeply and let clients feel more comfortable in communicating and sharing.

Objectives:
• Increase skills in reading body language and the use of words and voice.
• Increase skills to recognize deeper meanings when others are sharing.
• Increase skills in communication that increase cooperation.
