About the Instructor

Reverend Z. Melinda Witter

As Director for the Institute for Spiritual Development Treasure Coast, Rev. Melinda focuses on spiritual development education for individuals and the Institute community.

 She is a highly respected educator, trainer and an inspirational speaker. Her experience spans over 32 years with international programs, peace building, interfaith, adult education, and socio-psychological trauma. Her international service encompasses over twelve years overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan. She created and implemented customized trauma based programs for vulnerable groups within the U.S and overseas. 

Melinda holds an Executive Master of International Service from American University. She is a certified Spiritual Guidance Mentor from Atlantic University and an ordained minister with the Institute for Spiritual Development.



 

Introduction to Trauma & Healing Parts 1 & 2 

This is an introduction course about the different types and levels of trauma (physical, mental and spiritual) and how trauma may impact people. This course will review general protocols and the use of various tools for energy healings. We will delve into the team approach to trauma and discuss supportive networks, depending on severity of each case.

Join Reverend Melinda Witter from ISD Treasure Coast for an introduction to Trauma and Healing from a Lightworker/Energy Healer's Perspective. This introduction course discusses the different types and levels of trauma: physical, mental and spiritual and how trauma may impact people during the healing process. The course will review various protocols, and the use tools for energy healings for people with trauma. The course will also address a collaborative team approach to trauma including referrals to trauma specialists, when needed. The course will take place two Saturdays, via Zoom January 15th and 22nd, 2022, 10:00 am – 12:00 noon. There is required reading for Session II.
