Marguerite Uhlmann-Bower, R.N,. and expert herbalist, returns to ISD to lead us on a fascinating walk to discover edible weeds, and plants, even invasive ones, that actually support our wellness. We will taste wild food, hear the music of the plants, and learn safe foraging with instructive hand-outs.
Wouldn't it be nice to know what nature offers up that is safe to eat? Marguerite, who led us last summer in an amazing workshop on communing with trees, is the one to heed carefully- what is growing right around you, on your property, or in a crack in a sidewalk, that is actually FOOD? Discover with us!!
We will convene at Diana and Ben Friedell's home, and have an easy walk around Riddell Park to forage, which is very close to the Friedell residence.
