Summer Lecture by Amanda Hoover 

In this 7th of nine Summer Series Lectures, Amanda Hoover, School Administrator & life coach, and counselor from Walton, NY, leads us in recognizing toxic belief patterns, re-wiring unhealthy thought patterns, and actualizing the True Self. The True Self is our path to radical self acceptance and a happy, meaningful life.

As children we were often taught to be kind and respectful to others without a specific focus to be loving toward ourselves. In this course we will explore how to begin merging with our higher selves for the journey to self-love. We will explore concepts of radical self-acceptance and becoming aware of our inner self talk. Once we start to become aware of subconscious habits, fears and toxic belief patterns we can transmute anything that is hidden in darkness to light. We will look at the concept of neuroplasticity to re-wire unhealthy thought patterns and create new expansive beliefs for experiencing our greatest potential. We will discuss how to see beyond the small self to actualize the true Self through love. 

Your Instructor:

Amanda Hoover has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, a Master's of Science in Education and is a certififed school counselor and school administrator.  She has studied metaphysics, spirituality, and world religions at the college level.  Amanda has Reiki 1 Practitioner Certification and is a certified life coach. She has received extensive professional development in mindfulness in education and training in meditation.

ISD is show casing  speakers from a variety of spiritual organizations and traditions in our region, to network, socialize, and most importantly learn from one another.
