Your Hemophilia & Thrombosis Treatment Center at UC San Diego Health and Rady Children’s Hospital would like to cordially invite you and your family to attend our first annual Patient Wellness & Education Day. This day is devoted to our patients, their families and caregivers to provide a day of education on overall patient wellness. Come and meet your Hemophilia Treatment Center healthcare team and hear talks from Dr. Annette von Drygalski and Dr. Courtney Thornburg!
We plan to cover topics of good nutrition, healthy activities at UCSD, self-infusion, musculoskeletal ultrasound in hemophilia, continuing education, scholarships and grants, data outcomes at UCSD, special talk on “Planning your future with Hemophilia”, patient Q & A panel and much more!

COLLEGE BOUND: Presented by our partners at Rady Children's Hospital, this exciting class will focus on how to apply for scholarships, grants and special funding resources for college, vocational and continuing education.
PLANNING YOUR FUTURE WITH HEMOPHILIA: Geared towards adults with hemophlia this valuable class highlights challenges adults with hemophilia face, including financial planning, long-term care, health insurance and changes in their support system. Resources for some of these issues will be reviewed.
