The Slocum Research & Education Foundation in joint providership with Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), is pleased to host the 25th Annual Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Update on December 2, 2017, from 8:00a - 12:30p at the Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Eugene, Oregon. Primary care providers and allied health professionals are encouraged to attend our Silver Anniversary Event.

 Course objectives:

At the conclusion of this conference, participants will be able to:

  • Develop skills performing musculoskeletal exams of the upper and lower extremities
  • Differentiate between primary care treatment opportunities and conditions requiring orthopedic referral
  • Contrast the benefits and limitations of injections for common shoulder, knee, and back conditions

Cost of Attendance:  The cost of attendance is $50.00. Early bird discounts in October. Use code EARLY10 to receive $10.00 off registration fee. Secure payment is available online using Visa, MasterCard or American Express. No "At the Door" registration available, advance registration required. Full refunds are available upon request to any participant who does not attend. Refunds may be requested in writing: sref@slocumfoundation.org. Participants who sign in and leave before the conclusion of an event are not eligible for refund.

Catering: We are proud to be supporting the MLK Ed. Center, a collaboration between Lane County Youth Services and the Lane County Educational District, by featuring food and beverages provided by the MLK Culinary Arts program.
