LIFT Manufacturers Round Table

Take the Workforce Skills Journey With Us!

 Attention Manufacturers!!

We can help you with one of your biggest challenges --- YOUR WORKFORCE.

HOW MUCH IS THE SKILLS GAP COSTING YOUR BUSINESS?

Gardner Carrick, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at the Manufacturing Institute, will discuss a recently released Return on Investment Calculator for manufacturers. This web based tool is designed to help employers identify the cost of an open position and offers several ways to reduce cost, with key indicators including on-the-job training turnover, and productivity loss.

Don't go it alone!!  There's Help.  The Center for Science Teaching and Learning (CSTL) a recent grant recipient to promote STEM based manufacturing jobs and to help young adults obtain successful careers will also participate in the Round Table. Working with CSTL, LIFT and Kim Mitchell, a Management Consultant with expertise in programs for disengaged youth, are embarking on a journey to help find your future workforce.

Our goal is to define demand-based skills training that will meet your needs. We look forward to your attendance at this important meeting.
