The mic is on and ready to go!
Come Join the youth of Proud Theater Madison for 'At the End of the Rainbow V: an Open Mic Fundraiser for Proud Theater' - an evening of fun and entertainment with members of the popular theater troupe welcoming you, the community at large, to share music, poetry, spoken word and your voices in order to benefit Madison's own Proud Theater!
This year, the annual open mic will be held at Cafe Zoma, 2326 Atwood Ave in Madison on March 15th, 2014 from 630-9PM. Everyone is welcome to attend, and those wishing to perform can signup for five minute slots to share their hearts, souls, and thoughts in an open forum - all for a good cause!
Admission is free, but donations are encouraged at the door, or by buying one of our fashionable Proud Theater t-shirts, buttons, autographed books by local authors, or by throwing gold coins into the leprechaun or pirate hats that are passed throughout the night! (dollars work, too!)
Proud Theater is a local LGBTQIA youth theater troupe dedicated to making the world a better place for all through the power of theater and theater arts. The group opened a chapter in Wausau, Wisconsin in 2011, and another in Milwaukee in the spring of 2013. Their next culminating performance of the season will be held at the Bartell Theater May 29, 30, 31 - 2014!
Come join the fun March 15h at Cafe Zoma as Proud Theater welcomes the community to share their voices! Together we make the difference!
