Eating Right for the Whole Family: Whole-foods strategies and recipes for the whole family
So many people tell me that it is almost impossible for them to eat healthfully in their homes because their partners and/or children complain about healthy food and prefer the junk. Since it is beneficial (and necessary) for EVERYONE to eat well, strategies for getting whole-foods into the whole family are necessary. In this workshop we will rehash some whole-foods versions of old-favorites and devise new ways of making healthy food appealing to picky taste buds.
Dr. Corrie’s Nutrition Workshops take place on the second floor of the Professional Building on Waterville’s Main Street. Tea and homemade paleo-style snacks are served throughout the workshop, along with opportunities to sample any foods being used as education examples. Handouts and pens will also be provided. Registration is strongly encouraged in order to secure a seat (or seats for friends/family) in the workshop. Dr. Corrie’s Nutrition Workshops are provided free of charge as a service to the local community to promote understanding of the importance of clean nutrition for preventing and healing chronic disease. These workshops are open to all who want to attend.
