MBA Academy Days Spring 2024        ~ March 16th & 17th ~

Greetings from Monterey Bay Academy,

We are eagerly anticipating your arrival on our beautiful 379 acre beach front campus.  Much time and energy is going into this event with you in mind.  We would love to have you join us and hope that after spending time with us you will want to become a part of our MBA family.

Things You Need To Know

 

Financial Incentive

• $50 application fee will be waived for those who attend Academy Days.

Everyone

• This event is absolutely free! Just relax and enjoy everything MBA has to offer. 
• Meals are provided - your name badge you receive at registration will serve as your meal ticket.

Students

• You will be staying in a dorm room with an MBA student so remember to bring your bedding (sleeping bag & pillow), toiletries, towel, casual clothes, athletic clothes, etc. (except for those coming Sunday only). 
• Be prepared to make new friends and have fun!

Parents/Guardians

• We encourage you to attend and participate in all the events. We have a Principal's Receptions for Parents Sunday morning where Financial Aid information will be given and other common questions and concerns will be addressed by our Boys/Girls Deans and Administration. 

Lodging

• Unfortuantly, MBA does not have on campus lodging for parents. However, there are a variety of hotels in close proximity to the campus. 
• In case of an emergency, we will need your cell phone or other contact number.

What can you do?

• Invite all academy-age kids you know (7th-11th grade)!

11:10-12:30 pm   Church * You're invited to come and worship with us at the MBA Church

12:30-1:30 pm     Lunch (Cafeteria) * You're invited to enjoy lunch with us in the cafe after church

Academy Days Official Start:

2:00–2:30 pm       Registration/Check-in (MBA Gym)

2:30-3:30pm        Group Activities in Gym

3:30-4:30pm        Beach Activities

5:00-5:45pm        Supper (Cafe)

6:00-6:45pm        Vespers (MBA Church)

7:00–9:00pm       MBA Talent Showcase (Baker Chapel)

9:15-9:30pm        Dorm Worship (Dorms)

10:30pm              Lights Out

 Sunday, March 17th:

7:15-7:50am        Breakfast (Cafeteria)

8:00-8:30am        Registration for Sunday Arrivals (Grunke Hall Lobby)

8:00-8:30am        Worship and Announcements (Baker Chapel)

8:45-11:40pm      Campus & Academic Life Group Tours (various classrooms)

10:00-11:30am    Principal's Reception for Parents & Sponsors (Cafeteria)

11:40-12:40pm    Farewell Program: Scholarship & Prize Giveaways

12:40-1:30pm      Lunch
