AFP-IC Brown Bag Series February 2017

"Getting Your Ducks in a Row for 2017"  

The first 2017 AFP-IC Brown Bag Series program will be at noon on February 1, 2017 at the Indianapolis Public Library Foundation board room, located at the Library Services Center, 2450 N. Meridian St.  Our presenter will be Wendy W. Boyle, CFRE, president of Boyle & Associates.  The new format for Brown Bags allows for thirty minutes of presentation and thirty minutes for discussion and problem-solving.  Imagine what your "new year" could look like after attending! 

 

Wendy W. Boyle is president of Boyle & Associates, the fundraising consulting firm she established in 1998.  The firm provides strategic direction to help nonprofits build capacity and to prepare for and implement capital and endowment campaigns.  Wendy began her fundraising career at the Indianapolis Museum of Art in 1976 and later was Director of Development for the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and Senior Vice President for Corporate Relations and Development for the American College of Sports Medicine.  She joined the prominent national fundraising consutling firm Ketchum, Inc. as a campaign director and advanced to become president of the firm's Midwest region.  Wendy is a past president of the Indiana Chapter of AFP, and she is among fewer than 20 fundraising professionals in the U.S. to be continuously awarded the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation since the program's institution in 1981.

Location/Parking Information:  The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation, at the Library Services building at 2450 N. Meridian Street.  The Services Center is located at 24th/Meridian, just behind the Jimmy John's and north of the Lincoln Square Pancake House.  The entrance to the parking lot is on 24th Street.  There is a large parking lot in front of the building.  Upon arrival, you will need to sign in and security will direct you to the Foundation board room.
