2017 CYC Commodore Gibson Race/Cruise to Port Ludlow 

August 12 - August 13 The Commodore Gibson is an annual two-race series from Meadow Point to Foulweather Bluff and back, and includes an overnight stay at Port Ludlow Marina. Pot luck dinner, campfire, and pot luck breakfast at Port Ludlow.

Winners of each race will be announced at the annual CYC awards party in January and there is a perpetual trophy for each race, where the winners’ names will be inscribed.

Registration

If you wish to join the fun, please register on the CYC website ("Register Here" button), and then contactAl Johnson (ajohnson1101@gmail.com; 206-365-8607) as soon as possible so we can get your boat handicapped!

Moorage in Port Ludlow

Signing up on the CYC website does NOT reserve your spot at the Port Ludlow Marina. The marina is holding a number of spots for us through July 28th.  If you want a spot with the group on the dock, please call the marina at 360 437-0513 to make your reservation directly with them.  Tell them that you are with CYC for the Commodore Gibson Race.  They will require a credit card to hold your spot.  Port Ludlow website is http://portludlowresort.com/marina/.

Skipper’s Meeting

The skipper’s meeting is Saturday morning, August 12 at 8:00AM at the CYC clubhouse.

Social in Port Ludlow

A pot-luck dinner, grill out, and campfire will be held at the Port Ludlow marina the evening of the 12th.  We will also enjoy a pot luck Sunday morning breakfast, also ashore, before we sail home.

Everyone is a Winner!

Please bring a prize to be handed out Saturday night at dinner to celebrate the day's racing.  It could be a book from your bookshelf that you think someone else might enjoy, a bottle of something, or anything that you think would be fun.
