Purple Power Pack 4-H Camp
"Think Outside"
Purple Power Pack 4-H Camp is . . .
- Held at Rock Springs 4-H Center located 13 miles south and west of Junction City, KS.
- A place for you to have fun with old friends and make new friends while participating in activities such as canoeing, horses, crafts, campfire, archery, fishing, swimming and more.
- A place for you to sleep in tents or cottages with kids your own age and eat family style in Williams Dining Hall.
- Where staff members and counselors are trained in special program areas to provide you with fun and safe ways to enjoy Rock Springs.
- A place for you to try new things and to be a part of a team. The camp theme this year is “THINK OUTSIDE.”
- Organized by County Extension Councils. You will be camping with youth from Dickinson, Geary, Pottawatomie, Riley, and Wabaunsee Counties.
- For kids who want to stay at Rock Springs. Campers are not allowed to come and go from camp for other activities.
- At a cost of $185 for a Riley County 4-H member (Grades 2-7) and $230 for a friend (Grades 2-7) of a Riley County 4-H member.
- Medication card for all 4-H and non 4-H campers are due by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, May 10.
- Not a place for cell phones. Campers are not permitted to carry cell phones while at camp. Please refrain from sending cell phones with campers.
To register more than one family member, you will need to create a unique email address for each camper. (Please note: if you create an artificial email address for a camper, you will not receive a confirmation email for that camper.)
Payment can be made on this registration site through PayPal or credit card (you do not need a PayPal Account), or by sending a check. All payments are due by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, May 10. There are no refunds made after the numbers have been confirmed to Rock Springs.
