Riley County 4-H Project Day 

November 1
Pottorf Hall, CiCo Park, Manhattan

Parents and youth come out and join us for our first project day of the year. Learn in two different sessions about starting house plants and then photography. We are encouraging 4-Hers, non 4-Hers and their parents to join in both activities.

Starting House Plants: 9:00 - 10:00 am
Participants will learn how to take cutting s and start their own houseplants. They Will alson Learn about the continuation of care once the plant begins to grow in their home. For those interested there will be a brief horticulture judging activity towards the end of this session.

Photography: 10:00 - 11:00 am
Come out and learn about one of the most popular activities 4-H has to offer. Participants will learn about basic photography and some of the tricks and tips of capturing a great photo.  Parents are encouraged to participate. Experienced photography leaders will be on hand to assist and answer any questions that might come up.

Cost: $3.00 per participant. 

Reservations are due by October 30.
