Objectives:
• Define ethics and how it relates to your role as a human resource professional.
• Analyze examples of ethical and unethical practices.
• Explore business ethics and what that means for organizational leaders.
• Assess your organization’s ethical alignment and determine a process for handling ethical dilemmas in the workplace.

Human Resource Professionals are responsible for promoting and upholding their organization’s ethical culture through living, modeling, and teaching best practices. As the bridge between the c-suite and the rest of the organization, Human Resource Professionals are the catalyst for ensuring the organization is aligned around the company’s ethical business standards. During this session, participants will define ethics, examine real, “everyday” examples of ethical dilemmas in the workplace and practice a process for managing those situations. The tools acquired in this session will help participants work through dilemmas they experience first-hand as well as prepare them to guide others through situations where ethics is in question.

This program meets the HRCI Ethics Credit Requirement.
