Waste in Place Training 2017 

It’s crucial that our future leaders understand waste issues and how waste can be managed.  Those future leaders are being taught in the city of Pearland classrooms today and we want to get the proper information and tools into their hands through their teachers.  

Participating teachers receive continuing education units, TEEAC credit, course materials and Pearland teachers will recieve a $100 stipend.  Visit the Keep America Beautiful website about Waste in Place for more information.

The 2017 workshop will take place at the Stella Roberts Recycling Center, 5800 Magnolia, Pearland, TX 77584 on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 8AM-3PM.

The registration for this event is open to anyone but only Pearland teachers (Alvin ISD or Pearland ISD) will receive the $100.00 stipend.
