Advances in technology and data mining, along with the changes in socio-economic status and social media, have allowed the practice of corporate espionage to become more prevalent and easier for the practitioner in this multi-billion dollar industry.
Art will present some of these changes in an informal and easy to understand presentation, allowing you to see how corporate espionage works, and how to take simple steps to protect yourself.
Biography: Arthur Harvey, CPIM, C.P.M., CPSM (Commodity Specialist, ZOLL Medical)
Arthur has been a member of APICS/ASCM since 1987, and is also a member of ISM. He has served APICS/ASCM as Vice President of Education for Southern NH, and as a Director of Education for the North Shore chapter as well.
He is also CPIM certified, and ISM-C.P.M. and CPSM certified. In addition, Art has been instructing certification review classes for both APICS/ASCM chapters since 1993 to present, and is currently an APICS/ASCM recognized Master Instructor for APICS/ASCM-Minuteman Chapter, teaching multiple supply chain APICS/ASCM topics, including Risk Management and Supply Chain Contingency Planning. Additionally, Art is a CPSM instructor. He has held various positions in purchasing & materials in the North Shore area, and is currently a Commodity Specialist at ZOLL Medical.
Art is also the principal owner of Rampart Development International, a security consulting and protective services company.
