Artificial Intelligence & The Supply Chain

Please join APICS New Haven, ASQ New Haven Chapters for a joint PDM on "Artficial Intelligence & The Supply Chain" presented by Dr Dave Cadden and John Sawyer.

One of the latest buzz phrases in businesses is “Artificial Intelligence“.  Clearly AI is more than a transitory fad; it’s here to stay and will have profound effects on all dimensions of human life. AI Has found its way into many different business and scientific domains: medicine, customer service, engineering, physical and biological sciences and, of course, business.

This presentation will recount the beginnings and evolutionary development of AI. It will discuss the major approaches that to be found in AI. The presenters will provide a brief review of the mechanisms behind these approaches and how they are being applied to practical problems.

It will cover the different areas of supply change management where AI can and should be utilized. A particular emphasis will be on AI applications in warehousing.
