Blackboard is the official LMS system at UAA, and has a template course shell available for every course taught during the semester. Instructors can use this tool in face-2-face, hybrid and online courses to create an area where students can find content, take tests, collaborate in discussions. Instructors can also use the assignments tool to populate the Grade Center to grade and track student assignments and give just in time student feedback. This workshop will review how to add content, including multimedia, create assignments, set up discussion areas and review how the Grade Center can assist in time management and student feedback.
