Get started with a simple project that teaches basic stitches, selecting the right yarn and the appropriate tools to use. This class meets once a week for two weeks. Beginners learn under skilled supervision to make their first project easy and fun.
Supply List:
Bring a skein of light to medium-colored smooth worsted yarn (not hairy) or bulky weight yard and a pair of knitting needles, size 8-10. Recommendation: Red Heart acrylic yarn at Hobby Lobby uses size 8 US needles; bulky weight yarn (Wool Ease by Lion Brand) uses size 10 US needles.
