Arkansas History Frameworks: Following the Strands
This workshop takes teachers through an overview of the Arkansas history common core with new material that teachers should take into consideration and sug-gests ways to engage students in seeing connections and parallels with American and World history. An interactive teaching method is designed to get teachers to tell their own stories and for the presenter to aid teachers in finding easily available materials. One focus is on local conditions and needs.
