In this series, we will analyze what leading women in America's work front are saying about changing attitudes of working women, structural inequalities in the workplace and factors such as family rearing, appearance and long-term intellectual fulfillment. We will look back at the initial arguments that spurred the feminist movement when Betty Friedan published The Feminine Mystique and compare them with mod-ern arguments made by contemporary female leaders such as Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook/author of Lean In, Marissa Mayer, CEO of Yahoo, and Lisa Bloom author of Think. Several guest speakers will be featured, including leading women from our community.
