Sports Medicine Concepts is hosting Core4® Fundamentals On-Ice! at the Greenwich Skating Club in Greenwich, CT. Completion of this live program will lead to 8 Category A CEU's for the Athletic Trainer and SMC's Sports Emergency Care Specialist Certification. Core4® Fundamentals is an 8hr hands-on program that uses demonstration, practice, and simulation to provide a training experience that emphasizes practical application of 4 essential emergency action planning concepts, including:

Provision of high quality basic life-support prior to the arrival of EMS

Safe Patient Handling and Equipment Management
*A majority of the day will be spent on ice, please dress accordingly!
All necessary materials and equipment are provided by SMC, but participants are encouraged to bring any personal emergency response equipment they would like to practice with.
