CHOOSE YOUR TRACK

  • Adult Track June 4-14 (Ages 18 and up) (REGISTRATION CLOSED - EVENT UNDERWAY)
    Study and performance of Mozart’s THE MAGIC FLUTE
    Performance Date: Saturday, June 13 at 7:30 p.m. (Admission to performance - FREE - all are welcome!)
    Participant Fee - $550
     
  • High School Track June 8-14* (Ages 14-18) (REGISTRATION CLOSED - EVENT UNDERWAY)
    Voice training, personal coaching, concert preparation 
    Concert Date: Sunday, June 14 at 3 p.m. (Admission to performance - FREE - all are welcome!)
    Participant Fee - $200
     
  • Youth Track - June 10-14* (Ages 10-13) (ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSED, PLEASE CALL THE MUSIC DEPARTMENT OFFICE 419-530-2452 BY JUNE 9 TO REGISTER)
    Acting classes, voice lessons, program - music theatre
    Performance Dates: Sunday, June 14 at 3 p.m. (Admission to performance - FREE - all are welcome!)
    Participant Fee - $160

*IF YOU ARE UNDER 18, you must complete and have a parent or guardian sign the Permission/Medical Consent form. Download the PDF form.

DEADLINES

  • May 29 - No registrations will be accepted after this date - for any track. 
  • June 4 - Final due date for all outstanding fees for the Adult Track
  • June 8 - Final due date for all outstanding fees for the High School Track
  • June 10 - Final due date for all outstanding fees for the Youth Track

FEES/PAYMENT

Register TODAY! Payment is not due until the first day of your track. Pay by check or credit card. Pay today or pay later, just pay b the deadline for your track. Tuition includes everything you need to participate fully in Janus Vocal Arts Festival. It does NOT include travel expenses, or food. See below for helpful information about meeting those needs.

HOUSING/MEALS/TRAVEL

Dorm Housing (optional) is available on campus in dorms for $100-$160 for the week, depending on the room options you choose. Please visit UT Residence Life for details. Reserve your room with Residence Life and let them know you are participating in a Music Department workshop. You will pay them directly for your room. Meals are not provided. There are many locations on and off campus where meals can be purchased. We also have a refrigerator, microwave and a student lounge if you want to bring your own.

Travel is not covered. The nearest airports are Toledo Express Airport (TOL) or the Detroit Metro (DTW) airport. Toledo is also serviced by Amtrak and Greyhound. Transportation to and from the airport/station is on your own.

HIGH SCHOOL TRACK - June 8 – 14

  • 10 a.m. Registration
  • 10:20 a.m.  Warm-up, Meet and Greet
  • 11 a.m. Music Rehearsal
  • 12:30 p.m.  Lunch Break (bring your own)
  • 1 - 4 p.m. Music Rehearsal
  • 4 p.m. Acting and Stage Movement Class
  • 5 p.m. Go Home
  • 7:30 p.m. Daily Recital

Tuesday through Saturday, June 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13

  • 10 a.m. Vocal and Body Warm-up
