Yvan Baker, Member of Parliament for Etobicoke Centre
Yvan Baker is a devoted community leader and has been a fierce advocate for families in Etobicoke Centre for many years. Yvan is a former Member of Provincial Parliament, a management consultant, and instructor at the Schulich School of Business at York University who has always shown a deep passion and determination to make a real difference for families here in our community.
Born and raised in Etobicoke, Yvan has always had a strong connection to the community and everyone living here. His mother and grandparents were immigrants to Canada from Ukraine, with incredible pride for their heritage, but also an incredible pride in being Canadian. This lived experience has given Yvan a unique appreciation for community service and an understanding of Etobicoke Centre’s vibrant character, and helps make him the best choice to represent our priorities in Ottawa.
As the Team Trudeau candidate for Etobicoke Centre, Yvan understands what it takes to grow the economy and create good, well-paying jobs for our middle class. During his time as a Member of Provincial Parliament, Yvan fought alongside others to deliver positive results that directly impacted, and made life easier for, families in our community.

Uliana Tomiuk, Vice President Connor, Clark & Lunn
Uliana has more than fifteen years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining Connor, Clark & Lunn Private Capital, she worked for a number of investment managers in retail sales, most recently with BlackRock in Toronto. Additionally, she has experience in project management and in marketing discretionary investment solutions for clients.
A graduate of the University of Ottawa with a B.Comm., Uliana also holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. She is CFA charterholder.
In her spare time, Uliana enjoys traveling, cooking, skiing and is an avid reader. Uliana is currently a board member of the Ukrainian Canadian Professional and Business Association of Toronto and the Ukrainian Canadian Social Services of Toronto.

Wally Rudensky, CPA, CA, Partner at MNP
Wally is dedicated to working closely with owner-managed companies and entrepreneurs. His breadth of focus includes corporate reorganization, domestic and international tax, Scientific Research and Experimental Development tax claims and estate planning.
By utilizing his skills in finance, tax and administration, Wally has taken on the role of CFO for various private and publicly traded companies. These professional opportunities provide Wally with an ability to draw on his expertise with corporate reporting, raising capital and corporate acquisitions.
Wally has lectured on taxation at the Canadian Institute of Charted Accountants (CICA), as well as at several universities, and has presented at numerous business seminars and conferences. He is a past president of the Brampton Board of Trade, is a director and treasurer for the Toronto Polo Club and has acted as CFO for various political candidates.

Jacob Angemeer, CPA, CA
Jacob is a Canadian Tax Partner working out of MNP’s Mississauga office. Jacob specializes in estate and succession planning for owner-managers and their families, providing innovative solutions tailored to each client’s specific needs. He works closely with high net worth individuals and owner-managers, identifying planning opportunities that allow his clients to optimally structure their organization’s affairs and developing strategies that best suit their short-and long-term objectives.
Jacob works with clients in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, real estate, automobile and professionals. His objectives include helping his clients minimize tax and planning for business succession. Jacob takes pride in helping business owners focus on what matters to them, their business and their family, to ensure they are well prepared for the future.
Jacob obtained his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) designation in 2015 (2013 Uniform Final Exam (UFE) National Honour Roll). He earned a Bachelor of Mathematics (BMath, Honours) in accounting in 2012 and a Master of Accounting (MAcc, Honours) in 2013 from the University of Waterloo.
