National Public Lands Day - East Rim Trail Project - Volunteer Day of Service September 30, 2017 

CVNP boasts over 100 miles of trails for hikers, bikers, equestrians, cross country skiers, and snowshoers. We need your help on National Public Lands Day to maintain the new East Rim mountain-bike trail. You will be naturalizing ground around the trail and finishing the tread work on the trail, so that park users can continue safely enjoying the trail.

Please arrive no later than 9:45 AM for registration so that the bus can transport you to the East Rim trail at 10 AM. You will work on your trail project from 10 AM - 1 PM, and the bus will transport you back to the parking area afterwards.

Project appropriate for ages 10 and up. Volunteers who are 10-15 years of age must have parent or guardian supervision at the project site. Volunteers who are 16 to 18 years of age are only required to have a parent or guardian sign their volunteer agreement form.

All projects rate as Moderate to Strenuous physical activity and requires the ability to hike 4 miles.
