Informal Interpretation 

Learn to engage visitors in spontaneous types of interactions within the park. The Informal Visitor Contact course covers the spontaneous types of interactions volunteers have with visitors, whether informational or interpretive. Participants gain knowledge relating to customer service, techniques for imparting information, learning to know their audience, and how to pull everything together leaving the guest with a favorable impression of their visit. Location provided upon registration.

Taking "Foundations of Interpretation" first is a pre-requisite for this course, if you have not done so already sign up for a below class. If you missed the live course, you can take it online for free at www.eppley.org (and email volunteer@forcvnp.org a copy of your certificate) or take this sequence of courses live at a later date.
