2013 - OVSC Summit Columbus Ohio sign up

The Columbus Ski Club is this year's host of the 2013 OVSC Summit and will be held May 31 through June 2, 2013.   

The Summit includes seminars, trade show, welcome reception, Saturday dinner, bus to the Hollywood Casino, Sunday breakfast, door prizes and trip presentations. Additional activities are available, many without charge. You can register online (preferred)  and choose what you plan to attend. Summit registration is $59 (plus $1 convenience fee)

Friday-
Golf Scramble-Phoenix Golf Course  We are offering a golf scramble for those attendees who wish to join us Friday morning prior to the start of the Summit. We will be playing at the Phoenix Golf Links conveniently located just 10 minutes south of downtown Columbus. Tee times start at 10:30am, with a light brunch provided just prior to our start. Phoenix is a par 72, links style golf course that provides both challenging golf as well as a great view of the downtown skyline. $50 per person includes golf, cart and light brunch.     

Welcome Reception

Clippers Baseball Game   (location info)   Columbus Clippers vs. Indianapolis Indians; Game starts at 7:15. Happy Hour 5pm-7pm, enjoy City BBQ pulled pork sandwiches for $2.00 ea., 12 oz. domestic drafts for $2.00 ea, and 12 oz. premium drafts for $3.00 ea. Specials available in Right Field Picnic Plaza Every Friday and Saturday home game will feature Party-At-The-Park with live music in the right field plaza as soon as the gates open... up to the first pitch            
Shuttle to German Village and Short North

Saturday-       
 Bike Ride - Leaving from the Sheraton Hotel at 8:00 AM return about 10:00 AM. The ride will be at a casual pace (12 MPH to 18 MPH). The ride will be mostly on a scenic bike path along the Olentangy and Scioto rivers.

Gallery Hop Saturday after dinner event Shuttle available. The Short North Arts District Gallery Hop occurs every first Saturday of each month, thousands of visitors converge on the strip to see new art exhibits and add to their growing collections. With dozens of galleries and non-traditional exhibit spaces, it’s Columbus’ favorite night of the month to celebrate art. Gallery Hop officially starts at 4PM and runs to 10PM with restaurants and bars staying open considerably later.

A block of rooms has been reserved for May 30-June 2, 2013 with a special room rate of $99 plus tax per night. This rate will be available until May 15, 2013 or until the group block is sold out, whichever comes first.   OVSC Summit participants must make their hotel reservations directly with the hotel.
