Roman a Chef Book Group for Cooks

This new book club is for those who love food and cooking.
Are you bored with your cooking? Are you missing your favorite restaurant food?   Join the new cookbook club, where we will explore books about food and try out new cookbooks together.  We will investigate new cuisines and cooking methods and share our own favorite recipes or substitution tips with the group. Let’s inspire each other to try new food and find new favorite cookbooks. The group will be led by local resident, art historian, and avid chef, Jama Hansonbrook.
Jama claims to have fermented everything from Kimchi to Sourdough Bread to Beer, and cooks food from as many geographical regions as she can.
The group will debut with Simple: Effortless Food, Big Flavors by Diana Henry. Look through the book, try out a few recipes, and come ready to talk about favorites and failures. We have copies of the book in the library.
