CLSHRM April 2021 Virtual Chapter Meeting

Please join us for a virtual monthly chapter meeting of the Central Louisiana Society for Human Resource Management on Wednesday, April 21, 2021  from 11:30am-1:00pm on Zoom. The Zoom information will be provided in your confirmation email after registration. We will begin the meeting as normal with chapter business with an engaging speaker to follow!  

Speaker: Stacy Hyatt, Branch Manager Westaff

Stacy Hyatt is a native to Cenla. Born and raised in Alexandria, Stacy is a 25-year retired teacher. The bulk of her career was spent teaching English, but she has taught every subject there is except math. After 25 years, Stacy decided she needed a change. She applied to Westaff staffing agency in Alexandria, where she had no idea that her organization and people skills would translate out to such a loved second career. She came into staffing with no preconceived notions, and no knowledge of how staffing worked. After 6 months, she was promoted from recruiter to our local branch manager. She is very happy with her transition into finding, engaging, and nurturing talent. She likes to say that she spent 25 years teaching kids and will spend the next 25 finding those kids jobs. She really likes being a resource for the Alexandria labor market and enjoys reconnecting with many old friends, and making new ones. She still resides in the Alexandria area with her husband, 3 dogs, and 50 or so rabbits.
