Program Description:
Do you know your clients’ charitable goals? Many advisors strive to be the go-to resource for all things in their clients’ financial lives. Vital to that is a specific focus and discussion of clients’ values and philanthropic goals. A focus on philanthropy as a fundamental aspect of wealth management and estate planning can set you apart from the competition. Your relationships with clients becomes less about returns and more about their higher aspirations, lifestyle and community impact. Centering the conversation on philanthropy often leads to discussions of impact investing, investing for social and environmental as well as financial returns. Beth Stelluto, Chief Growth Officer of ImpactAssets will discuss using a Donor Advised Fund as a relatively simple and cost-effective way to meet clients philanthropic goals. She will also discuss impact investing as a means to extend your clients values into their investment portfolios.
