Practice Peer Interaction & Ordering Cupcake

The purpose of this group is to help transfer treatment gains into the community setting by exposure to talking across people, places, and activities. First, we'll provide exposure therapy during peer-to-peer interaction while enjoying the slides, swings, and group games at Wilder Park. Then, we'll take our brave to town as we walk to Courageous Bakery to order our treat!

Drop Off: 10am at Wilder Park, 175 S. Prospect Ave, Elmhurst, IL.

Pick Up: 11:30am at Courageous Bakery, 108 W Park Ave, Elmhurst, IL.

Social Exposure Group

Social Exposure Group is not a long-term commitment; you can select the events you would like your child to attend. The group is innovative and useful for children with situation-specific symptoms that are the hallmark of selective mutism and/or social anxiety. With this group, ATSA Therapists can take your child to the next level of exposure by being in the community with your child and treating symptoms in-vivo in a group setting.
