2021 Southwest California Synod Assembly Payments 

Assembly Fees

The Congregational Registration fee for one called Rostered Minister and two lay voting members for the 2021 Synod Assembly is $395.

The fee for an Additional Rostered Minister Under Call (clergy or deacon) is $50. 

The fee for a Rostered Minister under Synodical or Special Call is $50

CONGREGATIONS - IF YOU PAID YOUR EARLY BIRD FEE FOR THE 2020 ASSEMBLY YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID THE 2021 REGISTRATION FEE - IF YOU ARE UNSURE, PLEASE CHECK WITH SAMANTHA AT SHENDERSON@SOCALSYNOD.ORG. 

If your congregation paid the early bird registration fee for the 2020 Assembly, a refund for the difference will be issued, or the congregation has the option of donating the difference to assist underfunded congregations with assembly costs. If you have not received an invoice with information about your congregational voting membership and fees due/paid, please contact shenderson@socalsynod.org.  

Voting members should register here as soon as possible, whether or not their congregation's assembly fees have been paid. 

NO FEE is due for the following - 

Additonal Youth or Young Adult Congregational Voting Members, as allocated by the Synod Constitution, who should register here. 

Retired Rostered Leaders (clergy or deacon) who are not currently under call or serving as an interim for a congregation - although they do not have vote, they do have voice at Synod Assemblies, and should register here. 

Synod Councilmembers, who should register here.

Visitors - the 2021 Assembly will be livestreamed and all members of the SWCA Synod and interested parties are invited to "visit" online. Information about Assembly Business will be made available on the synod website at www.socalsynod.org.
