The Joint Commission Center for Transforming Healthcare
Dr. Nether is the Director, Solutions Development at the Joint Commission Center for Transforming Healthcare. He leads Center solution development activities, both domestic and international. Prior to this role, Dr. Nether was a Master Black Belt in the Department of Robust Process Improvement at The Joint Commission. In this role, he supported the Joint Commission’s activities associated with establishing and sustaining a Robust Process Improvement (RPI) culture. This culture includes the use of Six Sigma, Lean, change management, and other performance improvement methodologies to drive results. Dr. Nether was responsible for leading strategic projects, providing expert advice to process improvement teams, and helping develop and implement a quality improvement-training program for all Joint Commission employees.
