The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program educates volunteers about disaster preparedness for the hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
Teens interested in taking this CERT course must be 14 years of age or older by start of class and must submit a Parental Consent Form when they register. Click HERE for Parental Consent form. This form must be emailed to RMesa@rivco.org at least 2 weeks prior to the start of class, July 20, 2018.
