2015 General Conference

Dear Saints,

Spring and the 2015 General Conference are just around the corner. Spring should arrive right on schedule in March, followed shortly by the General Conference, April 12^th to 18^th.  I would like to invite you, urge you in fact, to attend with us. Conference will be held at the Remnant Gathering Center, a very accommodating facility in Independence, Missouri, USA.

After a wonderful beginning in 2005, and being blessed greatly the first few years, we encountered a few  bumps in the road the last couple of years. However, the 2014 General Conference was a wonderful and spiritually healing experience that I believe got us back on track with the Lord. The Lord blessed us with His presence, and His guidance and direction as the saints labored together in love and harmony to develop a vision for the next few years. It was a great beginning and we are very excited to gather again to continue to labor together in that visioning process.  

If you were here last year I know you will want to come together again to see what the Lord has in store for us. If you have not gathered with us for a while, please come back and see what the Lord has done since you were last with us. If you have never been with us in Conference we pray you will come and see what the Lord is doing with this group of His people in these latter days. You will see that we are just what we claim to be. No more, no less. We are not perfect. Sometimes we stumble and sometimes we fall, but looking to the Lord, He has always been there to pick us up again. The Conference is not a church. We are however a gathering of branches and members, a body of saints on a mission to share the fullness of the gospel throughout the whole world.  We gather together to confer and ALL members of His church who have an authoritative baptism are WELCOME! We have come together with the express desire and hope of promoting the work of the Lord in these latter days, primarily through support of the missionary work to which the Lord has called us.  Our friends and neighbors, whether across the street or around the world are hungering and thirsting for His gospel of hope and salvation. We are but a small part of that effort and we would like to share in that work with all who believe in the gospel that was restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith Jr. and continued through the Prophet Joseph Smith III. Please come! Let us labor together, to return then to our branches and our communities, wherever they may be, better equipped and better understanding our role in His great work.
