    CME Opportunity - Feb. 5 

    Konstantinos Marmagkiolis, board certified cardiologist in practice at CMH Heart Institute Clinic, Bolivar, will present the February CME on Tuesday, Feb. 5 in CMH Community Room 1 at 6 p.m. Come early and enjoy the mixer at 5:30 p.m. in Community Room 2.

    Topic: Critical Limb Ischemia

    Objectives: 1. Identify patients at risk for Critical Limb Ischemia; 2. List tests/evaluations to prompltly provide to patients at risk; and 3. List prevention strategies to avoid Stage 4 Ischemia.

    About Konstantinos Marmagkiolis, M.D.

    Dr. Marmagkiolis is a graduate of Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He completed an internal medicine residency at Western Reserve Care System/Forum Health in Youngstown, Ohio.  He also completed a general cardiology fellowship at Montreal Heart Institute-University of Montreal, Quebec, and an interventional cardiology fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Mich. Dr. Marmagkiolis is a member of the American College of Physicians (ACP), the American College of Cardiology (ACC), the Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS), the Hellenic Cardiological Society (HSC), and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC). Dr. Marmagkiolis is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

    His practice and procedures include: office evaluation and treatment of cardiovascular disease; treadmill stress testing; echocardiography (transthoracic, transesophageal, inracardiac and stress); electrical cardioversion; adult interventional cardiology; coronary angioplasty and stenting; peripheral endovascular angioplasty and stenting (lower extremity, renal and subclavian artery interventions) inferior vena cava filter placement; emergent pericardiocentesis; and lower extremity radiofrequency endovenous ablation..
